For this holiday season, we offer this wonderfully complex, spiced imperial stout. The base recipe for this stout included nine different grains for layers of malt flavor as well as lactose for a full body and a touch of sweetness. Ginger and cinnamon were added at multiple stages of the brewing process, and during the conditioning phase we added some allspice, clove, and nutmeg to round out the holiday flavor.
